The deadline to register for Regional Arts Education Day is just a week away! Those interested should register by Friday, September 21, to participate.
This marks the 14th year AEC has hosted Regional Arts Education Day, the largest such symposium in Western Pennsylvania. This year’s theme is Honoring Tradition, Demanding Progress. Our two keynote speakers, Anqwenique Wingfield and Eric Booth, will host a teaching artist intensive as well as give the keynote address to our attendees at Pittsburgh Greenway Professional Development Center.
In addition to our two keynotes, more than twenty presenters will host concurrent sessions covering fiber arts, synthesizers, observational drawing, swimming, and much more. Registrants can rank their choices for sessions in the Regional Arts Education Day registration form. AEC will also be using Convene, a conferencing app, to centralize information and provide participants with easy access to concurrent session information, logistics, and much more. Registration costs $55 but can be adjusted depending on school districts’ FRPM percentages or organizations’ budget size. Educators in the Pittsburgh Public Schools system may register for free.
AEC is looking forward to hosting our 14th annual Regional Arts Education Day and welcoming artists, educators, administrators, community leaders and more. For questions about Regional Arts Education Day or any of AEC’s other programming, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 412-201-7431.
