   Every month Jamie Kasper, Fine Arts and Humanities Advisor – Division of Standards and Curriculum of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, hosts Arts Chat. Arts Chat is a webinar series that features updates on arts education and information about classroom practice from teachers in the field.

On Wednesday, July 21 at 4 pm, the Arts Education Collaborative will present an overview around the newly published AEC Music and Visual Arts Frameworks. These documents were developed in direct response to the needs expressed by areas arts educators. Making use of age-appropriate concepts and scaffolding content, the Frameworks channel the teaching of the Pennsylvania Academic Standards for the Arts and Humanities in music and visual art through recommended process and content indicators.
